My day starts early: I wake up around four a.m., go to the kitchen and prepare a latte, then head for my meditation room and tune in to my soul energy.

I check my heart chakra to insure that it is calm and relaxed. This chakra is a green color, like malachite, say the Tibetans. Due to recent health issues I have been given a beta blocker to regulate the beat. The meds are doing their job; my heart seems to be in sync, both in the physical and emotional bodies.

Today I am aware of two requests from clients.

The first one: A lady from the Midwest had e-mailed me about her chronic headaches. On her behalf, I go through a clearing of energy in my Seven Energy Centers — the chakras, as they are called. I feel to focus on my Third Eye, located just between the eyebrows. This chakra is an amethyst color.

I get a vision of the client — I’ll just call her “K” — and see how the blocked chakra is holding her back. The Third Eye is where we get our intuition. Some believe the spirit guides and unseen forces come through this chakra and give us knowledge.

Headaches sometimes are simply stuck energy. I see “K” getting free by deep breathing, dancing and screaming in order to release the tension, worry and stress.

When she e-mails me again today, I will tell her of my insights and suggest she try this technique for seven days.

The second request: A lady from California asked me to tune in to her daughter, who is due to have a baby any day now. She asked me to see if the child is a boy, and whether or not it will be a healthy baby.

I like to use the pendulum for “yes” and “no” answers. I ask the pendulum, which is a hematite stone, and it swings in the YES direction. So a boy it will be, and a healthy, happy one too.
I bring out the Sedona Deck, a wonderful tarot tool created by local artist Kathie Gabriel, and draw a card for the child. The guidance is the Bell Rock card. Bell Rock is a major masculine vortex in Sedona, and a good card for a new baby boy: strong, stable, grounding; a lovely start in life for this newborn-to-be.

I am available by phone and e-mail. I wait to see what happens as the day unfolds. Being a psychic advisor has responsibilities. I need to be crystal clear to access the psychic power, so I spend my free time meditating, breathing, and watching my thoughts. Sometimes I go for a walk in Mother Nature’s playground called Sedona.

I will tell you more about my days as a Sedona psychic in future installments of this column.

My husband has written a great sci-fi novel about our favorite subject. Visit our website to learn more: http://www.vortex23.com.
